Or at least it should be. Regardless the incident I am talking about is online retailers misleading the public with false promises of a warranty for their new purchase. This is not true at all regarding the Goodman Manufacturing Brand. Their site if you check it out makes this statement very clear:http://www.goodmanmfg.com/Home/Warranty/tabid/194/Default.aspxAs you can see they plainly state that if you buy a unit at an online auction or from any site online then you will not have any warranty at all. The claims obviously are outright fraud on the part of the seller. You can do a Google search right now for AC wholesale and find many such companies making these false claims of a 10 yr warranty on all parts. Mind you Goodman does have the 10 yr warranty on all parts but only if you purchase it locally from a dealer. We ourselves use the net to market our products and company but we do it legally and honestly without committing fraud. After talking to the accountant it was recommended that we form a LLC. So in a great 24 hour turn around time we were given our LLC certificate by the state. I must say I was impressed I thought it might take a week or more for them to get it approved but thanks to our Secretary Of State here in SC it was done in a prompt manner.
