Hi,

I wanted to take the time and address something that has been going on for a while now.

If you do a search on the net you will find several online retailers for heating and cooling equipment and this only affects the Goodman Manufacturing Brand but could be applicable to others as well. Or at least it should be. Regardless the incident I am talking about is online retailers misleading the public with false promises of a warranty for their new purchase. This is not true at all regarding the Goodman Manufacturing Brand. Their site if you check it out makes this statement very clear:

http://www.goodmanmfg.com/Home/Warranty/tabid/194/Default.aspx

As you can see they plainly state that if you buy a unit at an online auction or from any site online then you will not have any warranty at all. The claims obviously are outright fraud on the part of the seller. You can do a Google search right now for AC wholesale and find many such companies making these false claims of a 10 yr warranty on all parts. Mind you Goodman does have the 10 yr warranty on all parts but only if you purchase it locally from a dealer.

We ourselves use the net to market our products and company but we do it legally and honestly without committing fraud.

Make no mistake about it these people are not looking out for you at all and have no concern for you after the sale.
